Multi-objective optimization and experiment of nylon cord rubber in expandable packer

Abstract Nylon cord rubber has the advantages of small residual deformation and is easy to lift lower tubing string in low-permeability oil gas reservoirs. However, it associated with low-pressure resistance poor sealing performance. To enhance performance nylon rubber, a three-dimensional numerical model was established its accuracy experimentally determined. The Plackett–Burman test, Steepest climbing test Response surface method were used acquire polynomial response connecting structural parameters bearing pressure. Using genetic algorithms, optimal determined depending on field operation. reliability optimized results verified by laboratory tests. It shown that after optimization, capacity expandable packer increased 25% while 66%. In addition, pressure 70 MPa 50 MPa. These measurements effectively met on-site requirements high-pressure fine fracturing
